Why I Started AltaMedicare
I started AltaMedicare because I watched too many people in my own community struggle to make sense of Medicare. They’d get bombarded with mailers, called by out-of-state agents who didn’t know Utah, and pressured into plans that didn’t actually fit their lives.
My approach is different. I take the time to understand your situation, explain Medicare in plain English, and walk you through your options — without pushing you toward any particular plan. If a Medicare Supplement makes more sense for you than Medicare Advantage, I’ll tell you. If your current plan is already a good fit, I’ll tell you that too.
What You Can Expect
- An educational first. I want you to actually understand your options, not just sign something.
- Local Utah knowledge. I know which doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies are in which networks — because I live here too.
- No pressure, ever. If you need time to think, take time. If you want to bring a family member, please do.
- Annual reviews. Plans change every year. I check in each fall to make sure yours still fits.
- Help year-round. If you have a billing question in March or a prescription issue in July, I’m here.
